The Vial Truth

Interactive piece that uses 4000 empty prescription vials as a visual reminder of the number of Americans hospitalized each day due to serious adverse effects from doctor-prescribed medications.
Viewers are invited to use the pens from drug reps to write personal stories and/or comments about their chemical experiences on blank prescription labels, which can then be applied to one of the vials and returned to the wall. The labeled vials begin to transform the piece as the ongoing dialogue between viewers develops.
